CII – India Business Forum (South Africa) was honoured to facilitate a high-level meeting between His Excellency Mr. Prabhat Kumar, High Commissioner of India to South Africa, and The Honourable Dr. Zamani Saul, Premier of the Northern Cape Province.

The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in critical minerals, mining, value addition, beneficiation, investment, industrial partnerships, research, and skills development, reinforcing the shared commitment of India and South Africa to build resilient and sustainable supply chains while creating opportunities for economic growth, industrialisation, and employment.

The High Commissioner was accompanied by the CII–IBF (SA) delegation comprising Mr. Nihar Patnaik (President), Ms. Maya Bhatt (General Secretary), Mr. Vijay Kumar (CEO, Vedanta Group), and Mr. Somdeb Banerjee (Managing Director & Founder, Dark Star Group).
