The 2nd India–South Africa Business Conclave 2026, hosted by the High Commission of India in Pretoria in association with the CII–India Business Forum South Africa, successfully brought together government leaders, industry experts, and business stakeholders to explore new avenues of collaboration between India and South Africa.
Delivering the keynote address on behalf of the Minister, Hon. Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry & Competition, Mr. Zuko Godlimpi, highlighted the importance of deepening economic partnerships, expanding trade and investment, and strengthening industrial cooperation between the two countries.
H.E. Mr. Prabhat Kumar, High Commissioner of India to South Africa, emphasized the strong and growing strategic partnership between the two nations.
The conclave featured engaging discussions on strengthening bilateral trade, collaboration in critical minerals and mining, partnerships in banking, retail and FMCG sectors, defence industry cooperation, biotechnology and pharmaceutical innovation, tourism and civil aviation partnerships, infrastructure collaboration, and success stories of Indian and South African companies operating in both markets.
Members of the CII–India Business Forum South Africa also actively participated in the discussions, sharing industry insights and contributing to meaningful dialogue aimed at strengthening business ties between the two nations.
