The Second Strategic Planning Meeting of CII–India Business Forum, South Africa was successfully held on 5 February 2026, bringing together members for focused discussions on shaping the Forum’s direction for the next three years.

Prior to the strategic session, ABSA delivered a presentation on their banking offerings for IBF members, highlighting solutions designed to support business growth, financial efficiency, and enhanced banking engagement for member companies. The presentation was delivered by Mr. Vinesh Kassen and Mr. Dale Enoch from ABSA, and IBF appreciates ABSA’s continued support and engagement with the Forum.

The strategic discussions were led by Mr. Nihar Patnaik, President, CII–IBF SA, who guided an engaging and forward-looking dialogue on strengthening IBF’s role as a platform for collaboration, growth, and meaningful engagement between Indian and South African businesses.

The meeting reflected a strong collective commitment from members to build a more structured, impactful, and future-ready IBF, focused on fostering business synergies and sustainable growth.
