The High Commission of India organized its first India – South Africa Business Conclave in South Africa on 10 March 2025, at Capital Menlyn Maine in Pretoria, to strengthen economic ties between both countries, with support from The CII-India Business Forum (South Africa) and The South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI).

The discussions took place around key topics including: Academic discussion on the scope for increasing bilateral business, Opportunities and Collaborative Efforts for Enhancing Defence Business between India and South Africa, Automotive, Banking, IT, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, and Tourism.
