The 5th informal IBF meeting took place on 23rd August 2024 at the Country Club Johannesburg, Woodmead. H.E. Consul General Mahesh Kumar shared valuable insights on the business landscape and India-South Africa collaboration, and offered strategic suggestions for future initiatives. Mr. Nihar Patnaik, President CII-India Business Forum also provided an engaging briefing on previous and upcoming events, outlining the strategic initiatives that will further strengthen the community and drive collective success.

The evening concluded with the launch of Mr. Fakir Hassen’s new book, 30 After 40: The India-South Africa Relationship, marking 30 years of resumed diplomatic relations between the two nations. It was an evening filled with insightful conversations, meaningful connections, and a shared commitment to fostering collaboration within this vibrant community.
